The Churches Conservation Trust cares for the fascinating medieval church of All Saints, Shirburn, which is open to visitors daily. We need your help to keep this church looking loved and cared for.

Join experts at the church for a drop-in Conservation Summer Clean on Thursday the 24th and 31st August 2017 between 11.30am-2.30pm, all ages welcome.

The Church Conservation Trust has been awarded funding by the Rothschild Foundation. The funds allocated to Shirburn are being used to purchase materials for a series of workshops. The first workshops in the series will begin this August where we will begin with a deep clean of the church and its textiles, exploring the effects of dust and pests on our churches.

Feel free to stay for the whole day or drop in and help anytime between 11.30-2.30pm; any help is greatly appreciated.

Bring a packed lunch and some warm comfy clothes. Tea, cake and everything else provided! Parking is available along Castle Road.

We would love to know that you are joining us or if you require further information about these or future workshops you can contact
Beverley at bturner@thecct.org.uk or call 07918634823.

It is not essential to book a place and do just feel free to drop by on the day!
